The Securbond Flashing Tape is designed as a roof flashing tape for all types of sheets. The Flashing Tape provides a secure seal between your polycarbonate sheets or corrugated roofing sheets and connecting wall. This helps prevent any water ingress or water getting onto your roof structure below.
The Securbond Flashing Tape is available in widths of both 150mm and 200mm allowing you to achieve the appropriate level of coverage for maximum waterproofing. As a safe alternative to lead, flash band tape is proven to work on various materials, including traditional brickwork.
It is recommended to use a Top Wall Flashing to seal the back of your roof and provide better waterproofing. A Top Wall Flashing also creates a flat surface to flash down onto, rather than having to flash onto the profile of the corrugations or over the glazing bars, which is ineffective in sealing 100%.
This self adhesive flashing tape is easy to install on a wide range of roofs and uses a simple installation process for DIYers or contractors. Always ensure your wall surfaces are dirt and dust free (as far as possible) before installation.
