Jablite Floor Insulation

Jablite is a manufacturer of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) insulation board, which is a lightweight, rigid board insulation material made from expanded polystyrene beads that can be easily cut to size and installed in various building applications, including walls, roofs, and floors - with Jabfloor being purpose made for flooring insulation. EPS insulation is manufactured by expanding polystyrene beads with steam and then moulding them into insulation boards. These boards help to reduce heat transfer and maintain consistent indoor temperatures. It is also moisture-resistant, durable, and resistant to mould and mildew growth, making it a popular choice for both residential and commercial insulation projects. In flooring, EPS insulation board is most commonly used in concrete flooring, placed on top of the initial concrete slab layer, below the final concrete screed.

Our Jablite floor insulation boards measure a standard size of - 2400mm x 1200mm, and are available in a variety of thicknesses to suit most projects: 25mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm.

Jablite Jabfloor boards do not have a fire rating as floors are not required to be fire rated. They are typically fully protected by concrete or screed flooring when installed and so have no negative impact on fire resistance. 

Jablite Jabfloor 70 boards have a thermal conductivity of 0.038 W/m.K.
