Solid Polycarbonate Roofing Sheets

Shop our range of Axgard Clear polycarbonate roofing sheets ideal for strong and durable glazing projects such as greenhouses, garden rooms, pergolas and more. With high impact resistance, they make a fantastic alternative to glass that is lightweight and easy to cut with a circular saw or jigsaw. Ideal for use in conjunction with Aluminium Rafter Supported Glazing Bars, or Aluminium Self Supporting Glazing Bars.

Solid Clear Polycarbonate Sheet Uses

Though these Polycarbonate Sheets are ideal for creating a clear, lightweight roofing in pergolas and lean-tos, they also have a wide range of other uses. As they are extremely strong, resistant to breaking and lightweight, they are often used in place of glass in outdoor projects, such as in greenhouses and coldframes, shed and garden room windows, and also in more elaborate glazing projects, which look particularly good when used in conjunction with Aluminium rafter supported or self supporting glazing bars.

Lighter and Easier to Cut than Glass

Axgard Solid Glazing sheets are made from a clear, solid polycarbonate - this has all the clarity and shine of glass, but without the inconvenience of potential damage and specialist equipment. This is particularly useful in garden projects where roofing and glazing is likely to come into contact with the elements - such as falling tree debris (fruit, seeds, etc), hail, heavy rain, etc.) as the flexibility of polycarbonate sheets mean they are extremely difficult to smash or break. They are easily cut with a circular saw or jigsaw, meaning there is no need for specialist glass-cutting equipment, and much lower risk of wastage and breakage.

High UV Protection

Our Axgard Solid Polycarbonate sheets are the best choice of polycarbonate sheeting for UV protection, making them ideal for sheltered seating, pergolas, sunrooms and more, allowing light and warmth through, whilst providing extremely effective UV protection. This not only will protect skin from the effects of UV rays, but protects the panels and other garden items below (such as furniture) from excessive degradation as a result of exposure to UV rays.
