Novia® AirSeal 310 is a high-tack sealing compound made from a solvent-free polyacrylic emulsion. Ithelps to achieve internal airtightness in sealing applications, functioning as both an Air and Vapour Control Layer and a Damp Proof Membrane installation product, complementing the utility of Novia® installation tapes.
Once the curing period has passed, it establishes a permanent seal with some residual elasticity. Conforming to DIN EN 4108/7 standards, Novia® AirSeal 310 is suitable for use on solid construction elements. Additionally, it proves valuable in applications requiring extra sealing, such as internal corners, floor sections, or window reveals, enhancing the efficacy of Novia® installation tapes.

What is AirSeal Sealant?
Similar to the use of sealant tapes, AirSeal sealant is designed to ensure an airtight seal when jointing and sealing Air and Vapour Control Layers to be used in conjunction with or in place of sealant tapes.
How do I Use Novia AirSeal 310 Sealant?
Prepare all surfaces by removing dust, loose materials, or oil contamination to ensure a clean and solid foundation. Consider applying a primer to some surfaces as a precaution. Adequately ventilate the area during the curing period of Novia® AirSeal 310, which, depending on ambient conditions, may extend over several days.
Given the diverse range of construction materials, it's advisable to test the compatibility of surfaces and substrates before application. Note that Novia® AirSeal 310 is not designed to bear weight, so the use of mechanical fastenings is always necessary. Opt for permanent, galvanized, or stainless fixings that can adequately support the installation's weight.
