Awnapol® is a Premium Grade Corrugated Bitumen waterproof roofing sheet that is used for roofing applications on outbuildings, sheds, log stores, shelters and similar applications. The Awnapol® bitumen sheets simply overlap on width and length to reduce the need for cutting end sheets.
Why choose Awnapol Premium Bitumen sheets over Corrapol-BT Bitumen Sheets?
Awnapol is thicker and more robust than Corrapol-BT providing a slightly heavier duty and longer lasting product for the more challenging applications. Awnapol is available in 2 colours; black and green.
How many sheets will I need?
You can work out your Awnapol roof requirements with a simple calculation.
EXAMPLE CALC: If you had a roof that was 5 metres wide by 3 metres length (down the slope) you would work it out in two calculations.
STEP 1: First simply divide the width of your roof by the coverage width of a sheet. The coverage width of an Awnapol Roof Sheet is 855mm allowing for one corrugation overlap or 760mm if you are allowing for two corrugation overlaps.
EXAMPLE OF STEP 1 CALC:
5000mm ÷ 855mm = 5.85 = round up to 6 sheet widths
STEP 2: Secondly we need to work out the length requirements. Add your chosen sheet overlap distance and any required overhang to the length (slope), then divide this overall distance by the length of the sheets. Awnapol roof sheets are 2000mm long.
EXAMPLE OF STEP 2 CALC:
3000mm Length (slope) + 300mm overlap + 100mm overhand = 3400mm
3400mm total slope requirements ÷ 2000mm = 1.7 = round up to 2 sheet lengths
EXAMPLE RESULT:
6 sheet widths x 2 sheet lengths = 12 sheets total
