Description

Seal Novia Vapour control layers (VCLs) and Gas barriers with Novia Double-Sided Butyl Tape. A durable jointing and sealing tape in a 50mm width it is designed to achieve a complete seal against air and water ingress. Pair with Novia BOPP tapes or Foil tapes for complete finish. 

It is recommended to use the 30mm tape specifically for Vapour Control Layers.

      What is Butyl Tape?

      Butyl Tape is an adhesive tape designed for use in jointing and sealing Gas barrier membranes and vapour control layers.

      How do I Use Novia Butyl Tape?

      When jointing and sealing, double-sided butyl tape is applied first to seal both layers of gas barrier membrane or vapour control layer together, using a 150mm overlap. It should then be followed with an application of BOPP tape to ensure an airtight and effective finish.
