The Birtley Standard Duty Cavity Timber Frame Lintel TF90 is designed to provide effective structural support in timber frame cavity wall constructions. Constructed from hot-dip galvanised steel, it offers excellent resistance to corrosion, ensuring long-lasting durability in various environments. This lintel is ideal for standard duty applications, providing reliable support for moderate loads, particularly in residential projects. The TF90 is engineered for ease of installation and is designed to handle the specific requirements of cavity walls in timber frame buildings.

Requirements for Installation:

This lintel must be bedded fully on bricklaying mortar and used with a cavity tray. Lintel clips must be used at <600mm intervals, not more than 225mm from each end. Lintels over 1200mm must be propped until masonry is fully loaded and cured. The minimum end bearing for this lintel is 150mm.
