It is designed to friction-fit within the cavity, and is cut to a size intended to fit between standard wall-tie spacing for easy installation. 100mm  Knauf Dritherm 37 is a full-fill cavity insulation designed for 100mm cavities, and is often issued in extensions to match existing cavities.
