What is 3x2 Treated Timber in mm?

"3x2" relates to the joist size in inches which equates to 47 x 75mm. However, our 3x2  timber joists are regularised to ensure a smooth and consistent size along the entire length of the timber, which means the "finished" size is slightly smaller, approximately 45mm x 70mm.

This small size difference in the majority of projects will make no material difference, and is typical across 47x75mm (3x2) timber joists.

Although we strive to maintain stock across all sizes for efficient delivery, there might be intermittent delays or shortages in certain lengths. Should this occur, we may substitute longer lengths to ensure your order arrives promptly.

What Does C16 Stand For?
