General Use Plywood

Our general-use plywood is typically used for a range of purposes such as joinery or other interior projects with no specific structural or moisture resistance demands. This general use ply is ideal for staining and painting. Our General Purpose plywood is sold in 3.6mm, 5.5mm, 9mm and 12mm thicknesses.

Shuttering Plywood

Also sometimes known as formwork plywood, shuttering ply’s main use is for creating formwork for pouring and shaping concrete. This is a popular method in forming shed bases or laying foundations for buildings and walls, though it expands out into a wide range of concrete structures and forms. Our shuttering plywood is sold in 9mm, 12mm and 18mm thicknesses.

Structural Plywood

Structural plywood, as the name suggests, is specifically for structural purposes, such as in the construction of flat roofing, flooring and wall sheathing, as well as things such as sheds and garden buildings. It is structural grade specifically due to the variety of glue used to hold the plies together - which has greater resistance to changes in temperature and in moisture levels. Our Structural Plywood is sold in a both a pine and a hardwood variety, in 9mm, 12mm, 18mm and 25mm thicknesses.

Marine Plywood

Arguably the most durable of all plywoods, the price typically reflects this! Designed for use in high-moisture environments, Marine Plywood is manufactured with fewer knots and imperfections, and with a water-resistant glue, giving it greater moisture resistance than other varieties of plywood. Due to this absence of imperfections, it is often the most aesthetically pleasing variety of plywood too, making it a practical and beautiful choice for modern plywood kitchens and cabinets. Our Marine Plywood is sold in 12mm and 18mm thicknesses.
