What are Timber to Timber Joist Hangers?

Timber-to-timber joist hangers are metal connectors used in construction to join timber joists or beams together securely. They are typically made of galvanised steel or another corrosion-resistant material to ensure durability and longevity, especially in outdoor or moisture-prone environments. They are designed to support the weight of one timber joist while connecting joist, often at perpendicular or intersecting angles. They provide structural support and stability, helping to distribute the load evenly and prevent the timber from shifting or separating over time. They are commonly used in floor framing, deck construction, roof framing.
