Wooden Fencing Gravel Board - 22mm x 150mm - 3.0 Metre (10 Foot) is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
These treated timber wooden gravel boards (22x150mm) are used in fencing - below fence panels and feather-edge boards to keep them raised above ground level and protect them from rot and pest attack. They are also ideal for “hit-and-miss” style fencing and for outdoor projects such as raised beds.
These timber gravel boards have a sawn finish and are pressure treated to resist moisture and pest, with a light brown finish. We recommend further treatment of fences using our exterior woodcare.

What are wooden gravel boards / carcassing used for?
Wooden gravel boards are commonly used in fencing installations to provide a durable barrier between the ground and the fence panels. Serving as a protective base, these boards prevent soil and moisture from coming into direct contact with the fence panels, reducing the risk of rot and decay over time. Additionally, they help maintain the structural integrity of the fence by offering stability and support, and add a “finished” look to the asethetics of the fence. Occasionally they are used for other outdoor projects such as raised beds.
What Does Rough Sawn Mean?
This timber is rough-sawn, as opposed to our regularised C16 and C24 timber, or planed timber, which are planed to achieve a very smooth finish. Rough sawn timber has not undergone this further processing which makes it ideal for a more natural finish in outdoor settings and makes it a more affordable product, perfect for garden projects.
What Lengths Does 22x150mm Carcassing Come In?
Our brown wooden gravel boards are available in lengths of 3.0m, 3.6m and 4.8m. We strive to maintain stock across all sizes for delivery, but there are occasionally instances where we would look to substitute a longer length as an alternative if there's a delay or unavailability of specific sizes in your area.
