For a tidy and finished look - plus a functional purpose (to guide water away from the building structure) - this downpipe shoe is designed to be attached to the end of your downpipe and angled away from walls and structures. 

Choose from three colours (black, grey and white) for a uniform and customised look, in a strong, powder-coated aluminium. 

In regions susceptible to varying weather conditions, this durable aluminium gutter system is rigorously tested against both high and low temperatures, along with substantial weight  such as that from snow. With proper care and maintenance, it can be expected to last 20+ years.

What is a Downpipe Shoe Used For?

A downpipe shoe, also known as a downspout shoe, is a component used in building drainage systems. Its main purpose is to direct and manage the flow of rainwater or wastewater from a downpipe, ensuring that the water is directed away from the building's foundation or basement. The downpipe shoe is typically installed at the lower end of a downpipe, extending it away from the building to prevent erosion, water pooling, or damage to the structure's foundation.

What Do I Need to Install The Aluflow Downpipe Shoe?

This Aluflow Downpipe Shoe is designed for use with the Aluflow Aluminium Downpipe and it’s other components, and is intended to be attached to the lower end of a downpipe. It is recommended to install a Downpipe bracket just above the gutter shoe for a secure finish, and finish with an appropriate sealant to ensure additional protection against leaks.

The only time a Downpipe Shoe is not required, is if the downpipe will be connected directly to a drainage hole or pipe.
